Hands On With Children

How To Train Children

Poised and Confident

"I am completely confident that after my week at The American School of Protocol®, I have every tool and resource necessary to go out and make my etiquette school, not only a success, but a fondly regarded place for children to learn important life skills. You have given all of us the opportunity of a lifetime for which I am forever grateful."

Etiquette Certification

OUR TRAINING CERTIFICATION PROGRAM COVERS EVERYTHING NEEDED TO LAUNCH YOUR OWN ETIQUETTE BUSINESS

From our 800-page training manual... to business advice from our legal counsel... to earning your CPR certification – we will provide you with everything it takes to start and grow a successful etiquette business. Each day, pictures will be taken of you working with the children. When you design your etiquette brochure, you will already have photos to use. No other program can compare to the comprehensive hands-on training you receive at The American School of Protocol®.

OUR UNIQUE HANDS-ON TRAIN THE TRAINER PROGRAMS

Some things can never be learned in a classroom. They must be experienced in the real world of interpersonal relationships. Our Train the Trainer program takes you into the comfortable elegance of Peggy Newfield's own home for a behind-the-scenes look at how Peggy conducts etiquette training.

In addition to your own classes, each day you will join Peggy and a small group of children as they gather around the table to practice their etiquette and share a splendid meal prepared by our chef. The beautiful, internationally themed table décor, changes daily as Peggy takes everyone on a round-the-world tour of different cultures. You will gain helpful new insights as you participate in lessons where Peggy Newfield and her staff teach the value, joy, and skills of good etiquette.

The grand finale for both you and the children is an evening of fine dining at an exclusive Atlanta club for an elegant "silent service" dinner. Here, everyone will subtly and politely signal their requests to their servers without having to say a word. From their deportment to conversation skills and making introductions, you will witness the children completely transformed as the week unfolds. This will also give you the opportunity to learn how Peggy and her team of professionals handle the children's questions, keep their interest and win their respectful cooperation.

"One of the highlights of each day of our American School of Protocol® training was the hour spent with the children. Watching how you held their attention and how much they enjoyed their experience, was worth my tuition. Their reaction to the class was something that we as teachers needed to experience. "
